2024 was particularly poignant, with the retirement of Harry Bates as Honorary Groundsperson after more than 30 years in charge. Much more than Harry, a cricket club is only as good as the volunteers who prepare the ground, who score and umpire, who maintain the pavilion, and who bring the energy to create a vibrant club atmosphere. Thank you all.
